all my desires melt like ice

pangea’d surroundings

safety netted

baby blanket

clung

images you hold like a newborn

cradling, loving, mothering

swallowed into reality

torment of materiality

you're a mudslinger in virgin white

a stained lamb painted pure with lacquer of trust

what have you not touched?

telemarket disciple

calling from the other side

givin’ them a paycheck

forgive me for a life

was i born from resilience

or out of strife

you were born for a reason

now I reap your forgiveness

sweet like honeycomb

stuck, rotting in my teeth

sandspurs nettled in hair

cut and trimmed

does that make me free?

there is no prevention

only redemptive measures

easy as surface tension

broken latex

spermicide the marrow of life

you are just a repercussion.
