all the noise in the world, all at once

heavy like a sin

weighing down my arms

now i can’t swim

drowning in the creek

won’t you jump on in

come save me

treading water

detachment

drugged out junkied

withdrawin’ from the truth

i don’t feel the need

getting cold then sweating

feeding off skin

fluorescence

caught up in the rocks

derailed integrity

monstrous;light

an aphrodisiac of hatred

pareidoila

you’re caught in a lie

toiled like a knot so overtly tied

bearing down the words

everything you never said

i’m counting syllables

sore’d like a tooth

beckon’d blood

i didn’t come to concede

convince me

heavy like a silence

one that fills, all surroundings

silence that you tread

silence that is drowning
